With new security challenges emerging daily, insuring user authentication requires best of breed solutions that can evolve and scale to meet new threats and manage risk. Meeting those requirements is the driving force behind our advanced security products. Easily integrated into custom security application deployments or combined with many of the world’s leading commercial security software products, Euro-Smartict's products support organizations in integrating advanced authentication products using an extensive variety of solutions such as smart cards, contact less cards, mobile tokens, software token and advanced biometrics.

Advanced Authentication Applications

Identification and Verification Server (IDVS):

This system enables organizations to identify and authenticate users (such as employees and/or customers) who are willing to access any (web) application or any other back office services based on advanced authentication solutions such as one-time password, challenge/response, biometrics or certificates, using Euro-Smartict tokens, third parties tokens, smart cards, e-ID card or ICAO compliant e-Passports. An appropriate example is an Internet banking authentication system or remote access control.

Mobile Tokens Family:

A variety of authentication devices to provide cryptographic mechanisms used for identity verification such as one-time password (OTP), challenge/response, digital signing and biometrics. These mechanisms run within a secure environment such smart cards, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDA), or even in a secure environment on the desktop.

This product family also includes tokens emulation systems that enables developers to emulate the identification devices for test purposes during the realization of security projects such as internet banking and identity cards.

The Smartict Framework Suite:

This framework enables developers to integrate authentication functionalities into their own developed platforms and products. Further it includes an SDK for building security applications such as authentication services, key management, single sign on (SSO) and PKI based mechnisms.

Among these, the SDK provides open standard functionality:
- Implementation supporting PKCS-11
- Implementation supporting Crypto Service Provider (CSP)
- Implementation supporting Microsoft Base Smart Card CSP (Card Modules)
- Implementation supporting Mifare contactless cards
- Implementation supporting ISO-7816 contact cards
- Implementation supporting Biometric Enrolment & Verification
- Implementation supporting PKI and X.509 certificate
- Implementation supporting Host Security Modules (HSM)

The Smartict e-Passport Suite:

The Smartict e-Passport Suite provides smart card applications to run on contact and contactless JAVA / Multos cards enabling governements to rapidally deploy their e-Passports and e-ID based projects. The Software Development Kit (SDK) included in the suite provides the needed functionality to authenticate, read and verify the contents of any third party ICAO compliant issued e-Passport. It is designed to provide system integrators or government agencies engineers and software developers the flexibilty and transparency in deploying e-Passport based solutions without any intensive knowledge of cryptography, smart cards and open standards.

The SDK supports Machine Readable Travel Document (MRTD) processing functionality such as:
- Basic Access Control (BAC)
- Passive Authentication (PA)
- Active Authentication (AA)
- Extended Access Control (EAC)
- Reading of the Logical Data Structure (LDS)
- ISO 14443 based communication to contact less readers
- ISO 7816 based APDUs
- Integration into external applications through advanced interfaces.
